The Indiana High School Athletic Association cancelled the seasons for both Griffin and Hammond high schools following a wild brawl in a high school basketball game that saw fans storm the court and allegedly mix it up with the players.  READ MORE

With just under six minutes to play in the first half, Griffith’s Anthony Murphy was leading a 2-on-1 fast break and took off for a dunk. But Hammond’s Tim Echoles chased Murphy down and delivered a hard foul — while the junior guard was in the air — that sent Murphy flying into the padded wall behind the basket.
