For the second time in NBA history, a team has climbed and kicked its way to the 70-win plateau, with the Golden State Warriors’ surprisingly easy win over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday pushing them over the hill.

Though the two clubs have vastly different rosters, both teams’ styles of play are typified by selfless, silky smooth ball movement. And with Golden State recently redefining and revolutionizing the small ball game, it made sense that the contest was strewn with seemingly prescient passes — with players having such a keen eye for the court and such a sharp sense of their teammates’ habits that even the most incredible passes seemed inevitable.

No one exemplified this more than Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, as he razzled and dazzled with the rock, putting on full display his typical loaded dessert tray of treys and tricks, dimes and, yes, even a dunk.

With the clock ticking down to the announcement of the 2015-2016 NBA MVP, Curry made his case again Thursday night. Here were five times in the third quarter alone that Curry showed how beautiful team ball can be.

9:26-mark | An around-the-back dribble followed by a one-handed shovel pass to Draymond Green

7:13 | A look back, and a left-handed drop to Andrew Bogut

6:22 | A Harlem Globetrotter-type sequence between Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes

4:28 | Around the horn, and up, up and away for an alley-oop to Bogut

1:02 | A double crossover, left-handed loop to Green, once more

We’ll see you at the MVP podium, Steph.
