The Basketball Africa Organization (BAL), a partnership in between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the National Basketball Organization (NBA), is a new professional organization featuring 12 club groups from across Africa. The BAL builds on the foundation of club competitions FIBA has organized in Africa and notes the NBA’s first collaboration to run an organization outside The United States and Canada.
