The Basketball Africa Organization (BAL), a collaboration between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the National Basketball Organization (NBA), is a new professional league featuring 12 club teams from across Africa. The BAL constructs on the foundation of club competitions FIBA has organized in Africa and notes the NBA’s initial collaboration to operate a league outside The United States and Canada.

The 12 groups have been split right into three seminars of 4 teams each. Each conference will play a 12-game team stage during which each group will face the various other 3 teams in its seminar two times. The top two teams from each conference and the leading 2 third-place groups from across the three meetings will certainly travel to BK Arena in Kigali for four seeding games adhered to by an eight-game, single-elimination Playoffs and Finals from Friday, May 24– Saturday, June 1.
