The Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks, 105-98, in Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals Presented by YouTube television, to take a 2-0 collection lead. Jrue Holiday led the Celtics with 26 points (11-14 FG), 11 rebounds and 0 turnovers, while Jaylen Brown included 21 points and 7 assists. Jayson Tatum (18 factors on 6-22 FG, 12 aids, 9 rebounds) and Derrick White (18 factors, 5 rebounds) totaled 36 points for Boston. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while P.J. Washington (17 points, 7 rebounds) and Kyrie Irving (16 factors, 6 aids) completed 33 factors.
This notes the 9th straight win this postseason for Boston and the initial time in this year’s Playoffs the Mavericks have shed back-to-back games.
