The Dallas Mavericks overcame a 17-point comeback (8:25 in Q3) and defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 117-116, in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals to win the series 4-2. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with his seventh career Playoff triple double as he totaled 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists while Kyrie Irving added 22 points. Dereck Lively II totaled 12 points and a Playoff-best 15 rebounds as Derrick Jones Jr. added 22 points on 8-13 shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with a Playoff career-high 36 points, along with 8 assists as Jalen Williams totaled 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. The
Mavericks will now face the winner of the Denver Nuggets-Minnesota Timberwolves series, which is currently tied 3-3, in the Western Conference Finals.
With the win tonight in Game 6 for Dallas to win the series, 4-2, Kyrie Irving’s teams move to 14-0 in series clinching games. He remains the only player in NBA history who remains undefeated in these scenarios with at least 10 games played.
Dallas advances to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in three years (2022) and for the sixth time in their franchise history. The last time the Mavericks won a WCF was in 2011, v OKC (4-1).
Luka Doncic tallies his third consecutive triple double, becoming the fifth player in NBA history to have three straight such games in the Playoffs, joining:

* Russell Westbrook (3 straight)
